We are only three weeks into this WWTLC/Purple fundraiser to raise, first, the down payment to purchase the Land–and we have raised $182,247! A really great start on a long journey (first the earnest money, which we have in hand, then the whole down payment, and finally enough money to purchase and maintain the Land). We can do this, clearly we can! Keep rising, Amazons!
As of December 4, the WWTLC fundraiser total from all three donation channels (CrowdRise, PayPal and checks) is $104,414! Good work, Amazons! Most impressive, and really uplifting in these troubled times.
But don’t stop now–we need to get to $160,000 just for the earnest money. After that, double it for the rest of the down payment. And then the purchase price and funds to maintain the Land for the benefit of women and girls.
We’re in it for the long haul–and WE CAN DO THIS!
